I'm making this blog for my 4 week trip to India. During my trip I will attend my uncle's wedding and we will celebrate the Indian festival of light, Diwali.I'm also going to meet my cousin for the first time who is turning 1 on the 23rd of September. Feel free to write comments.
Diwali
Diwali is the Indian festival of lights.Diwali means row of lamps and it is celebrated by many Hindus across the world.There are many myths about how Diwali started.I will tell you some of the myths.
Myth 1:A demon Naragasura(pronounced naa-raa-gaa-soo-raa)was terrorizing the world . The gods were angry at the destruction and they sent Lord Krishna to kill the demon.He disguised himself as a beautiful girl and danced for the demon. The demon could only die if he touched his head. The demon danced with the girl and then the girl touched her head. The demon forgot how he could be killed, so he touched his head and died. The people celebrated his death with fireworks and divas(lamps).
Myth 2: The evil king of Lanka, Ravana abducted Sita and asked her to be his queen. Rama and Laksmana were furious and they battled Ravana.In the fight Ravana was killed with the Brahmastra(divine weapon).When they returned home people celebrated the happy occasion as Diwali

The Fish are awesome. But you should be able to grow them and then they get really fat, and they should be able to explode, and reproduce. I can't wait until the site finishes. By a huge fan of Earthworm Jim.
